Faith’s Care Ministry Mission is to remember those who are ill, hospitalized, or living at home or in care facilities but with limitations. We remember them with birthday and get-well cards. We also send sympathy cards to grieving families upon the death of a Faith member.
The Care Ministry meets weekly on Thursdays at noon in the room west of the church kitchen. We bring our lunches or share goodies one of us has made and we minister to one another. We have devotions and discuss how those on our care list are getting along. We send out cards as needed weekly.
We would be happy to have others join us. We are currently a group of women, but we don’t have to be. We would welcome men members.

Anytime a fifth Sunday comes around on the calendar, Fargo Faith United Methodist Church is responsible for providing help to serve brunch at Churches United for the Homeless!
On these Sundays, we provide 10-15 volunteers who prepare brunch, set up the dining area, and serve the food to anywhere between 75-100 hungry residents and area needy and homeless citizens.
We are proud as a mission-based church to provide help for this worthy organization!
Every second and fourth Friday of the month, volunteers from Fargo Faith and other area churches come together to provide groceries for needy families in the Fargo-Moorhead area. On a typical Friday, the Fargo Faith Food Ministry will serve anywhere between 100-150 people.
The mission of the Fargo Faith Food Pantry is to help the less fortunate by distributing food to lessen their financial burden of a grocery bill.
Faith Food Pantry is funded by food or cash donations, grants, Fill the Dome food and the Great Plains Food Bank.
We are always in need of servants to help out on these Fridays! We look for help with setup and stocking in the morning, help serving the food in the afternoon (we serve the community from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm), and help tearing down and cleaning up after the serving is complete. Just come on over and help or CONTACT US for more information.
(Please note that you must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer for liability purposes.)
The English Conversation Group is a hospitality and cultural exchange ministry designed to help foreign students and graduate students in English language pronunciation.
Gene and Jan Jones lead the group, which has been in place at Fargo Faith since 2011. The group meets during the school year, often bringing in 15 to 20 students. Sessions take place on Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm in the church library.
English skills vary. We are Christians, Hindu and Muslim. Many have joined Faith UMC for food pantry assistance, and some have made faith commitments.
You are welcome to help with or provide transportation for off-site activities including sledding, ice fishing, the zoo, as well as home-holiday potlucks.
